The Safari Supper

The 2020 Safari Supper had to be cancelled thanks to the coronavirus situation.
We will reschedule it as soon as we are able.

For the last few years our Safari Supper has been an eagerly anticipated event in the early spring.

How it works

A Safari Supper is a dinner party ‘on the move’, where successive courses are eaten at different houses. Each participating group (usually an individual or a couple) hosts 4 to 6 neighbours as guests for one course of the meal, and is a guest at someone else’s house for each of the remaining courses. Everyone starts and ends the evening together, and you can expect to meet different participants at every course. Every resident of the Seven Roads is welcome to participate. No money changes hands, except that participants who choose not to host a course are asked for a contribution towards drinks for the start or end meetings.

The 2019 Safari Supper

Last year’s event saw 90 people participating, the largest ever. If you took part and have any feedback about what we could do better next time, or what you particularly enjoyed, don’t hesitate to contact us by email at safari@sevenroads.uk or speak to any committee member.
